Artichoke Stems Concentrate
DESCRIPTION
By-products represent majority of the mass collected
from artichokes, but still constitute a precious source
of bioactive phenolic compounds, such as cynarin and
chlorogenic acid.
ITALINE™ C preserve proteins functionality, acting on
glycation. Protein glycation spontaneously happens
when reducing sugars react with amino groups of
proteins adversely affecting their function.
When glycation involves skin structural proteins, the
formed Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs) lead
to skin stiffening and wrinkles formation.
EFFICACY
In vitro testing on human keratinocytes shows reduction of AGEs upon UVA induction.
Clinical studies show AGEs accumulation protection in vivo as well as improvement of skin elasticity and skin firmness.
