Usnea barbata Lichen and Myrrh Resin
DESCRIPTION
AKOWELL™ FRESH is a combination of Usnea barbata, containing the active ingredient Usnic acid that protects the lichen from environmental aggression and predators’ consumption, and Myrrh, which is a resin that defends the tree trunk from external infections.
The broad antibiotic and antifungal protection provided by Usnic acid, together with the marked astringent effect given by the Myrrh Resin, provide a truly long-lasting ANTI-ODOR EFFECT.
EFFICACY
In vitro testing shows growth inhibition of Corynebacterium xerosis, Staphylococcus aureus and Malassezia furfur strains.
